Fantastic value for money Clean, quiet and comfortable The self-serve breakfast of toast, jam, fruit, tea/coffee was great Everything was as described on the website (which is not always the case with cheaper rooms)

It's better to stay on second floor

Clean room, friendly staff, good location close to Thaksin hospital and city night market, quiet area, breakfast area on first floor.

The following issues was in room #103. Mosquito door on the balcony didn't close well (the main door was working but we like fresh air) and some mosquitos came into room. In the morning a soap foam (a lot of) went out from drain on balcony and bathroom.

The shower was nice and warm, the location was okay because it’s quite close to the Night Market of Surat Thani. It’s pretty good value for what you pay

The door posts were quite low. This caused a few head bumps. Furthermore, the bed was pretty hard and the staff could be more welcoming when checking in.

Very clean place, we could eat from the floor of our room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was perfect for a quick stay in Surat Thani.

Great for one night

Great for one night when you are on you’re way from one place to another. The guy at the reception was very helpful and very nice he helped me opening the lock on my back (I forgot the key on the last place I’ve stayed at).

Good value for money in busy city area

Basic accomodation, clean and good service. Value for money. Would recommend for 1 night only.

Noisy. During the evening and early morning you hear people coming in/out the building. Also traffic around the building you hear very well. If you sleep light or difficult, you may consider another area/hotel.

Good for a stopover

papangkorn house was a nice place to stay as a stopover in Surat Thani. The room we stayed in was basic but lovely. It was clean and comfortable. The air con and WiFi was good. We were able to do laundry on site as well. The staff during the day were friendly, but night staff could’ve been nicer. We were able to book trips with the hotel too.

we didn’t really dislike anything. There’s not a whole lot in the area but as I said it was only a stopover. There’s a couple of shopping malls that help pass the time.

The property was spotless!

The property was spotless! So clean. Air conditioned room was great, bed was also very comfortable. Close proximity to the night bazaar which is definitely worth a visit to try Thai food and mix with the locals (not much English is spoken though!). They supplied shampoo and soap etc which was nice. Really liked the towel display on arrival too!

The fridge and air con are quite loud - but really good facilities to have. Maybe bring ear plugs if it might worry you.

Friendly but to quiet

The team is very nice and helpfull, although they do hardly speak any English. Right at the entrance of the resort is a local restaurant which is busy and serves good food and it is very nice to stay at.

We were the only guests, the location of the resort is outside the city so without transport the only restaurant is the one at the entrance of the resort which is a good place to eat.

Great stay before catching a flight

I stayed at Papangkorn House before catching a flight from Surat Thani Airport. Check in was great - got given a map with recommendations for things to check out and eat. I was also given the choice of how to get tot the airport; taxi or shuttle bus. The room was comfortable (very soft, nice bed), very clean, free bottles of water. Good water pressure, basic amenities in the bathroom. Each room has a balcony which is nice. Working air con and TV. The staff were very polite and coffee and toast was a nice touch in the morning. 15min walk to night market, 5 min walk to shuttle bus and 5min walk to a big supermarket.

The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Free basic breakfast in the morning. Very good and free WI-FI Pretty good location. Everything is within walking distance and they provide you with a plan which has all the important sites marked on. I stayed 3 nights in the end after only booking one night. I highly recommend this place.

Room very clean and comfortable. Bed was good. TV was huge. Shower was nice. Bananas, toast and coffee for free in morning. Close to the phantip bus only ten minutes walking.

Nice stay for a good price !!!

We stayed here for one night to took the ferry early next morning. Everything was fine an clean and the staff was nice. We booked the transport and ferry from the hotel to Koh Phangan (350 Baht) easily there. Also included some toast and coffee in the morning!

Nothing wrong, maybe a bigger shower and no big tv :)

It is not a fancy place but it is clean and spacious, and...

It is not a fancy place but it is clean and spacious, and really all I needed before continuing my trip. Very nice of them to offer free coffee, toasts and bananas in the morning. They also organized a ferry to Koh Phangan for me, at a good price, with the pick up right at the hotel.

Fab hotel, would definitely visit again if in the area.

Fab hotel, would definitely visit again if in the area. We only stayed one night before we headed off for Koh Samui, we booked our bus and ferry through the hotel for a very reasonable price. Thank you!
